Henan TROILY New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is a laboratory-based enterprise focusing on research and development. Founded in 1999, it moved to the north area of the industrial cluster in Yanjin County, Henan Province in 2010. It has been focusing on the development and production of environmentally friendly new energy nickel-based secondary batteries. It is a Chinese research and development unit for button-type nickel hydrogen batteries and a new type of iron-nickel battery. The battery first initiated the research and development unit, and the company lasted 8 years to reshape the Edison battery-iron-nickel battery. The first phase of the factory covers an area of 12,000 square meters, with a construction area of 7,000 square meters, and the second phase has a total investment of 200 million yuan. It covers an area of 44,000 square meters. The plant area under construction is 45,000 square meters. The office and scientific research center are about 5,000 square meters. The new super ferro-nickel battery is 500 million ampere-hours and the nickel-hydrogen battery is 50 million ampere-hours. It is expected that some of them will be put into production next year, and all of them will reach production in 2019. By then, a production capacity of no less than one billion yuan will be formed.

In 2012, the company was recognized as a high-tech enterprise and has established a provincial-level “Environmental Protection New Energy Nickel-series Secondary Battery Henan Engineering Laboratory”. The company has established industry-university-research cooperation with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhengzhou Institute of Light Industry, and Henan Institute of Technology, and has established a collaborative innovation mechanism with Xinxiang Battery Research Institute. And it is widely used in small portable rechargeable electronic products, solar lawn lights and other new green lighting fields, commercial intelligent control instruments and other electronic products fields. It is a supplier of self-powered flashlight batteries for the rescue of Wenchuan earthquake and Hanshin earthquake in Japan.

The iron-nickel battery is a major invention of Edison more than one hundred years ago, also known as the Edison battery. It is the earliest electric car battery in the world. Since 2008, the company has spent nearly 8 years remodeling the iron-nickel battery. The remodeled new iron-nickel battery is a sustainable, environmentally friendly, safer, and easy-to-recycle battery among all current secondary battery systems. New iron-nickel batteries have comparative advantages in the following six application areas: 1. Energy storage, especially large-scale energy storage; 2. Special vehicles such as electric forklifts and engineering vehicles; 3. Water transportation areas such as ships, yachts and submarines; 4. , Railway and other rail transit fields; 5. military industry; 6. low-speed vehicles, track vehicles and public transportation fields. The battery is expected to become a new type of energy storage and power battery that can completely replace lead-acid batteries, cadmium-nickel open batteries, and complement lithium batteries. At present, the company has obtained 8 invention patents and 6 utility model patents and other independent intellectual property rights in the battery. It has industrial production capacity, and its technical level is in the forefront of domestic and foreign. From 2017 to 2019, the company will add more than ten new high-efficiency and energy-saving new iron anode and battery production lines. After the project is completed, the company is expected to become a larger research and development and production base for new iron-nickel batteries at home and abroad.
